Love London Offering

We love London. We want to celebrate everything that is good about this city, and contribute to its spiritual, social and cultural renewal.

From January 2016 we will begin meeting in four locations each Sunday. We will remain one church but with services in different parts of the city. We think that there are many in London who will benefit from having services local to them and that this move will help us to serve the city better.

But if we are to create vibrant, welcoming services that are of real benefit to the communities in which they are based, it will require all of us to play our part.

One of the highlights of this autumn will be our Love London Sunday on 11 October, which will be a great celebration of the city, and an opportunity to dream about all the ways in which these new services will contribute to the flourishing of London. We will be taking a special offering over three weeks, beginning on Love London Sunday. This offering will help provide some of the resources we need to launch the three new services.

We have produced a leaflet, which spells out some of what we hope to achieve with our new services, and also what we think it will take to make this happen.

I would be really grateful if you would take a bit of time in the lead up to Love London Sunday to read through it and prayerfully consider how you can use your time, energy and money to serve God and our city as we partner together over the coming year.

You can pick up a copy of the Love London Offering leaflet from the Mermaid Theatre on a Sunday. Or you can download a copy and try your origami skills to fold your own here.

If you would like to give to the offering, you can do so through all the ways explained on our giving page. Please mark your donation ‘Love London’ to help us steward it correctly. We will be taking the offering on Sundays over three weeks, between 11 – 25 October.
