London is a diverse city, with more than 300 languages spoken here, over 50 non-indigenous communities with populations exceeding 10,000, and almost 30% of our population having been born overseas.
Our Love Nations Sunday on 22 March will celebrate the international communities in our city and consider how we can love and serve the nations on our doorstep. The service will include interviews, videos, and features from a wide range of people – we’re expecting it to be a great day!
Our meetings will take place at 11.00-12.30 and 16.00-17.30 as usual, and in between the services we will open up the Foyer and Mezzanine bar to host a variety of stalls, all with an international focus.
We will be holding an International Art Exhibition throughout the Foyer, led by Sonnia Montes. If you have any international art that you would like to exhibit, or if this is something you’d like to take part in, please do get in touch!
We are also hoping to have an International Food Stall. So if you can make some easily edible/transportable international finger food, please send me an .
