Kingdom Come

“The kingdom of God is at hand.” This simple declaration was the crux of Jesus’ message and the subject he returned to again and again. He was always talking about the kingdom! If this subject was so important to Jesus then it follows that is should occupy the same sort of priority for us today. In this series we look at the subject of the kingdom in the Gospel of Matthew, considering how Jesus’ blueprints for kingdom life, might work in our 21st Century London context.

Kingdom Come: Mission - Matthew 28:16-20

Andy Tilsley |

After over a dozen weeks, Andy Tilsley wraps up our series on the kingdom of God, looking at the implications of the message for Christians today. Jesus didn’t call us to make converts but to make disciples. In other words, we are called to this radical lifestyle, and are expected to share the gospel and win others to this lifestyle as well. Becoming a Christian is not simply agreeing with a few facts, but giving your whole life over to radical obedience.
