The Spring Term always feels like the hinge of the academic year. It’s when the serious work is done and thoughts stretch forward towards exams and the Summer.
So this term we’ve planned some student events that provide space to think deeply about the future and to have a lot fun.
Life is full of big questions. Why is there something rather than nothing? Is there such a thing as purpose? Why is there so much pain in the world?
To help us approach questions like these we’ve invited, by popular demand, Chris Oldfield to spend an evening with us thinking aloud about how the Christian faith helps us to explore these questions.
Join us in Café Eterno on Wednesday February 10 from 19:30 for an evening of thinking, interactive teaching and Q&A.
Although it’s still some months away, the end of the academic year is quickly approaching. And for some of you that means you’re facing a moment you’ve viewed with suspicion, fear and/or anticipation for years… graduation.
Graduation marks a decisive move into the adult world, one very different to studentdom. To help you in this time of transition we’re running a one off seminar on how you can flourish in the world beyond university. We’ll be looking into a number of different areas including work, friends, family, relationships, hobbies and faith.
Join us in the Mermaid Theatre from 13:15 on Sunday February 28. Bring a packed lunch, a bible, notebook and a pen!
Have you ever wanted to be a rock star? Here’s your chance… ChristChurch London Students are heading to Roadhouse in Covent Garden for a night of Rockaoke. Come to sing on stage or simply enjoy quality/entertaining music. We reckon it’s one of the best nights out in London.
We’ll be heading to the Roadhouse on Wednesday March 9. Rockaoke will start at 22.00. Sign ups are from 21.00. We’ll be there from around 20.00. Please feel free to invite others to this event.
