Nehemiah

The 5th Century BC was a time of conflict; the Jewish people were in exile and their temple had been destroyed. Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem with ambitious plans to rebuild the city. In this series we will look at this ancient story of urban renewal, considering what it can teach us as we seek to build a church that benefits our city.

Nehemiah: Nehemiah 13

The book of Nehemiah ends with a heart-breaking passage. Many of the trusted officials have failed, and the reforms that have been instituted have fallen apart. Nehemiah returns to the city to straighten out the problems. In the final week of our series, David looks at how to respond when things go wrong, and our need for an infallible Saviour.
