The Cross. It’s a universally recognised symbol, that evokes strong reactions. To many it’s an object of scorn and mockery. To others, little more than a fashion icon. To some, a source of strength and hope. In this series, running through Lent 2014, we consider the lasting significance of the Cross of Christ, and why it still represents a powerful message in the twenty-first century.
